Being photographed by Amy was such an incredible experience. I have never felt so beautiful and confident in my life! Amy made me feel so comfortable, and she really has such a great eye for photography. All the images were so beautiful that I could not even pick my favorite since they were literally all breathtaking. Like most women, I struggle with self-esteem problems and Amy vanished those self-doubts immediately. I left the shoot feeling like a model! I was photographed with my older sister and it was such a fun, vibrant experience that I'm thankful I got to share with her. We will cherish our pictures and memories from this shoot forever.

I really got out of my shell for this one! The fact that Amy is such a kind and encouraging woman really helped in getting comfortable!

Women can be so brutal about themselves. And I am, well, was one of them. I had a list of cautions I gave Amy—I hate my this, don’t photograph my that. And then, I saw my pictures displayed at her studio. And I gasped. Then I cried. Then I told her how much I love them. And then I said, “Thank you for helping me love myself again.” Every time I get down on myself, I just whip out my Amy Kwalwasser Photographer images and I remember how empowered I felt and it brings me right back to loving myself. Now I’m going to cry again.

Our son wanted photos to document his experience at UT. Amy found locations that meant a lot to him during his time at UT, such as the Computer Science school and the UT library. She guided us through the wardrobe process, advising on color and style choices that would photograph well for the locations that we chose. When we went to the photo reveal and saw the video presentation of the pictures we were so impressed we asked to see it again. She took photos in the studio and on campus which gave us a nice variety of choices. She presented us with many pictures to choose from for prints and graduation announcements. Thank you, Amy, for this amazing experience!
